What is the difference between ESET NOD32 and ESET Internet Security?

NOD32 provides core antivirus protection. Internet Security adds a Network Firewall, Webcam Protection, Banking & Payment Protection, Connected Home Monitor, and Anti-Theft — making it the better choice for active internet users.

Does it protect online banking?

Yes. The Banking & Payment Protection feature automatically opens a secure browser when you visit financial sites, encrypting your keystrokes to block keyloggers and protect your payment details. Note: this feature is not available on ARM64-based Windows devices.

Does it include a VPN?

No. ESET Internet Security does not include a VPN. If you need a VPN alongside antivirus protection, consider ESET’s HOME Security plans which bundle VPN as an option.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes. ESET Internet Security supports macOS 11 through 14 with native Apple Silicon support. Note that Anti-Theft is available on Windows only.

I have a Surface Pro X or other ARM-based Windows device — will it work?
